Who supports ASP?

    The Environment Council

The Environment Council works to put environment at the heart of people's choices, decisions and aspirations. Their goal is to help society deliver the best outcomes to the most challenging sustainability issues through ensuring we and others apply the right engagement strategies, at the right time and in the right place with the right people. With nearly 40 years' experience of raising awareness, training, and facilitation, and providing a forum for dialogue, they demonstrate what is possible, helping all kinds of organisations make the difficult and complex decisions needed for a sustainable future.

The Environment Council supports ASP's Learning Events with their facilitation services and hosting our London-based events. The Environment Council

Mark Wilkinson Furniture, Rathbone Greenbank Investments, Allied Domecq plc and HSBC kindly sponsored the launch of ASP. Here's what they had to say…

    Mark Wilkinson Furniture

Mark Wilkinson Furniture is based in the village of Bromham in Wiltshire. The company has grown up within the village over the last twenty years and have always felt that it is an integral part of the local community. We are in this for the long haul and so people and raw materials are what our business is all about. Using the resources available to us in a responsible and sustainable way is the only realistic option for our business to continue to be successful. We are extremely pleased to co-sponsor the launch of the Association of Sustainability Practitioners as it interests encompass everything we aim to do within Mark Wilkinson Furniture. We wish the ASP every success.

    Rathbone Greenbank Investments

Rathbone Greenbank Investments are delighted to support the launch of the Association of Sustainability Practitioners. Our business is to provide clients with investment solutions that reflect their need for good financial returns and respect for their values. If we support companies addressing environmental challenges, meeting social needs and creating worthwhile jobs, then we can look forward to a better future.

We want to spread the word that business practices needs to change. One of the ways we do this is by building relationships with people and groups who promote sustainability. The ASP is just such an organisation. We are particularly interested in its aims to foster a spirit of co-operation between practitioners which will accelerate the influence of good ideas.

HSBC (taken from their corporate website)

There are many organisations and individuals that have a common interest in the well being of the business community. Partnership is the key. By working in partnership at national, regional and local levels we can provide the clear focus and concentrated effort that will facilitate the growth, employment and regeneration prospects that the business community can provide. Every year, HSBC supports a wide range of projects and initiatives that underline our commitment to UK business and those communities where we do business.
